Pegassist® makes it easier for you to start patients on therapy by providing you reimbursement services to determine access and coverage for your patients.
You (or the patient) may call 1-877-PEGASYS (1-877-734-2797) and choose option #3 to have a reimbursement specialist research the patient's prescription coverage prior to starting therapy. The hotline may also identify alternate sources of funding for which the patient may be eligible. The reimbursement hotline can help to clarify plan requirements and issues around prior authorizations, claims denials, appeals, and short-paid claims. For patients who may be Medicare Part D eligible, the reimbursement specialists can walk them through the application quagmire.
